Small Self-Administered Schemes (SSASs)
A Small Self-Administered Scheme (SSAS) is a workplace pension scheme where the members are usually company directors. A SSAS has less than 12 members and these are normally trustees as well. The members and employer generally have more flexibility around, and more control over, the scheme's investments than with other occupational pension schemes. Redmayne Bentley offers stockbroking and investment management services for any SSAS provider registered on the AMPS website.
Once you have set up your SSAS, you can download the Pension Dealing Account Form or request one from your usual executive or office. In addition to this form, we will also require certified copies of the most recent 'Trust Deed and Rules', plus any subsequent amendments, the pension scheme tax reference number (PSTR), the HMRC Approval Letter, a certified copy of a recent bank statement for the scheme, and the scheme's Legal Entity Identifier (LEI).
