Investment management and stockbroking firm Redmayne Bentley has continued its expansion by welcoming Michael Wedderburn to its Glasgow office.
Investment Manager Michael joins the firm from Brewin Dolphin, where he had been divisional director. He said: “I am delighted to be joining Redmayne Bentley in Glasgow. I was struck by the warm and encouraging welcome I received not just from the Glasgow office, but also from the executive team in Head Office.
“Having spoken to people I knew who were already clients of Redmayne Bentley, they were all very complimentary about the professional service, flexibility and value for money they were enjoying, and this went a long way to helping me to come to my decision to join the organisation.
“I look forward to getting back into the job and re-engaging with my connections.”
After graduating from Napier University in Edinburgh in 1994, Michael began his career at Clydesdale Bank as a portfolio manager. After four years with the organisation, he moved on to Adam & Company, where he built an investment management client base for over a decade before joining Brewin Dolphin in 2011.
Clive Hodgson, Investment Manager and Head of the Blythswood Square Office, said: “Michael brings a wealth of experience and I know he is very well regarded by clients and professional contacts alike. I anticipate him making an important contribution as we seek to accelerate our expansion in the city.”
