Tuesday preview: Trade tariffs, US JOLTS report in focus

(Sharecast News) - The market spotlight on Tuesday will be on everything having to do with the tariffs being levied by the US on Canada, China and Mexico. So too, markets will be keeping tabs on any headlines out on the anticipated tariffs on the European Union and, to a lesser extent, the UK.

In the background, at 1400 BST the US Department of Labor will release the JOLTS report for job openings and quits in December.

Also of interest will be speeches from the heads of the Federal Reserve banks of Atlanta and San Francisco scheduled for 1500 BST and 1800 BST, respectively.
