Booster compressor arrives at Angus Energy's Saltfleetby Field
(Sharecast News) - Angus Energy announced the successful delivery of a booster compressor for its Saltfleetby Field gas processing facility in Lincolnshire on Monday.
The AIM-traded firm said the unit, manufactured in the United States, arrived on site last week and had been safely positioned on its concrete plinth.
Installation was now underway, with commissioning and start-up expected before the end of the first quarter of 2025.
The company said the booster compressor would support the existing two compressors at Saltfleetby, which facilitate the separation of liquid hydrocarbons from the gas stream and pressurise sales gas for entry into the National Grid.
As reservoir and wellhead pressures declined over time, the new unit would help maintain inlet pressures, supporting near-term production levels and improving long-term field recovery.
Angus Energy said it would update the market once the compressor had been fully commissioned.
At 1143 GMT, shares in Angus Energy were down 5.26% at 0.27p.
