UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson shot dead

(Sharecast News) - UnitedHealth Group chief executive Brian Thompson has been shot dead outside the Hilton Hotel in midtown Manhattan in an apparent targeted attack, New York police said on Wednesday.

New York police said officers responded to a call at about 0640 local time where they found a 50-year-old man who jhad been shot in the chest. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
