Kingfisher and M&S express interest in Homebase sites

(Sharecast News) - Marks & Spencer and Kingfisher have both expressed interest in taking over the sites of several Homebase stores after the DIY retailer fell into administration earlier in November. According to Sky News, M&S and Kingfisher were said to be among a number of retailers vying for Homebase's nearly 50-location-strong estate.

In addition to M&S and B&Q owner Kingfisher, homewares retailer Home Bargains was also said to be in the mix to acquire a number of locations.
