Air France-KLM said to be in talks to snap up 20pc stake in Air Europa

(Sharecast News) - Airline group Air France-KLM was said to be in talks to acquire a 20% stake in Spanish airline Air Europa, according to El Economista. The Spanish newspaper, which cited sources close to the matter, said the price of Air France-KLM's stake would be higher than the €100.0m paid by British Airways parent IAG for a similar stake.

Air Europa, owned by Globalia, was also said to be considering raising cash through a capital increase

As of 1110 GMT, Air France-KLM shares were down 2.30% at €7.31 each.
