Most Microlise customer systems back up after cybersecurity incident

(Sharecast News) - Microlise Group provided a final update on Monday, on the cybersecurity incident first disclosed on 31 October. The AIM-traded company confirmed that the majority of customer systems were now operational, with a few customers completing their own security checks before reactivating user access.

It said that no customer systems data was compromised during the incident.

While the impact of the breach was still under evaluation, the board reiterated that it did not expect any material adverse effect on its 2024 trading forecasts or financial position.

The incident involved the exfiltration of corporate data from its headquarters, with Microlise notifying international authorities and collaborating with law enforcement in the investigation.

At 1456 GMT, shares in Microlise Group weer up 3.81% at 109p.
