Friday preview: BoJ and PBOC rate decisions in focus

(Sharecast News) - Both central banks are expected to announce that interest rates will remain unchanged. Investors will nevertheless be keen to glean any guidance from policymakers' remarks.

On home shores, at 0700 BST the Office for National Statistics will release public sector borrowing and retail sales figures for August.

No major economic reports are due out in the US.

In the euro meanwhile, at 1400 BST the European Commission will publish the results of its consumer confidence survey for September.
