UK clears HPE's $14bn Juniper deal

(Sharecast News) - Hewlett Packard Enterprise's $14bn acquisition of Juniper Networks, has been approved by the UK's competition regulator.

The Competition and Markets Authority had initially investigated whether the deal would cause a substantial lessening of competition in the UK. It was also given the green light by the European Union last week.

Juniper makes networking devices such as routers and switches.
