Tertiary Minerals says Konkola West drilling slower than expected

(Sharecast News) - Tertiary Minerals updated the market on its drilling activities at the Konkola West Copper Project on Friday. The AIM-traded company said the first drill hole, designated KWDD001, had reached a downhole depth of 1,341 metres, according to KoBold Metals Company.

It said drilling was currently progressing through the hanging wall sequence above the target horizon.

The pace of drilling had been slower than expected due to the introduction of a new drill rig and varying ground conditions.

Drilling would proceed until the target horizon was reached.

At 1133 BST, shares in Tertiary Minerals were down 0.61% at 0.11p.
