Eurozone inflation steady in April
(Sharecast News) - Eurozone inflation was unchanged in April, as expected, according to figures released by Eurostat on Friday.
The annual rate of inflation for the block was 2.4%, steady versus March. A year earlier, the rate was 7%.
Meanwhile, annual inflation in the European Union was 2.6% in April, also stable compared to the previous month.
A year earlier, the rate was 8.1%.
