Avon Protection secures multi-million euro order with German Navy

(Sharecast News) - Avon Protection said on Monday that it has been selected by the German Navy to supply its multi-role rebreather for military diving operations.   The multi-million euro order includes the supply of Avon's rebreather and ongoing technical support. 

Chief executive Jos Sclater said: "The selection of our rebreather by the German Navy is a significant award for Avon Protection and the military diving personnel who will benefit from the cutting-edge technologies and enhanced operability it will bring them."

At 0810 GMT, the shares were up 3% at 920p.
