Novacyt taps Steve Gibson for CFO

(Sharecast News) - Biotechnology group Novacyt has appointed Steve Gibson to the role of chief financial officer with immediate effect. Gibson joined Novacyt in 2017 and has served as group finance director since 2020. Prior to joining Novacyt, Gibson spent over ten years in various finance departments at Hewlett-Packard.

Chairman James Wakefield said: "We are delighted to welcome Steve as our CFO. He has impressed us with his financial and operational expertise and was instrumental in the acquisition of Yourgene Health plc as well as delivering the strategic changes to the Company over the last two years. The board looks forward to working with him as we continue to execute our growth strategy."

As of 1030 GMT, Novacyt shares were down 0.41% at 61.25p.
