Shaftesbury Capital COO Chris Ward to step down

(Sharecast News) - Shaftesbury Capital said on Tuesday that chief operating officer Chris Ward has decided to step down after 12 years with the business. Ward, who was also previously chief financial officer of Shaftesbury, will leave the company on 22 December.

The company said he has played an important leadership role during his time with the business, including throughout the merger which created Shaftesbury Capital earlier this year and has led the delivery of a number of "highly successful" integration activities since completion of the merger.

Chairman Jonathan Nicholls said: "Chris is a committed and experienced executive and has made an enormous contribution to creating London's leading central London mixed-use REIT.

"We thank him for his extraordinary efforts over the years, wishing him every success in the years to come."
