Unbound unlikely to be able to publish results in near future

(Sharecast News) - Hotter Shoes owner Unbound Group said on Friday that it's unlikely to be able to release its interim results by the end of the day, as required by stock market rules. The company - whose shares have been suspended since 17 July pending clarification of its financial position - also missed a 5 August deadline to publish its latest annual report.

Unbound said in a statement: "The company also confirms that it continues to explore opportunities for a transaction...albeit these remain at an early stage there can be no certainty that any transaction will ultimately be completed.

"It remains unlikely that the company will be in a position to publish its annual report and its interim results in the near future."

Further announcements will be made as appropriate, it added.
