Wednesday preview: U.S. producer prices, Fedspeak in the spotlight

(Sharecast News) - Investors' focus on Wednesday will be on the latest producer price numbers due out in the U.S.. Consensus is for a slowdown in the rate of price increases from the 0.7% month-on-month clip observed in August to 0.3% for September.

Speeches and possible policy-relevant remarks from multiple top Federal Reserve officials will also be watched for.

First out will be Fed governor Michele Bowman at 0915 BST who is scheduled to deliver a speech in Marrakech, Morocco, at the IMF's annual meeting.

She will be followed at 1515 BST by Fed governor Christopher Waller, Atlanta Fed boss Raphael Bostic at 1715 BST and Boston Fed chief Susan Collins at 2130 BST.

Multiple European Central Bank officials are due to take to the podium over the course of Wednesday.

In the UK, overnight S&P Global, KPMG and REC will release their UK Report on Jobs.

In Asia, Chinese money supply growth and new loan data for September are due out overnight.
